How to get there
Dhamma Sumeru - From Inside

The Dhamma Hall   The men's dining room during the open doors day in April 2000   Women's dining room

The Swiss center offers room for 55 students and servers. The first 10 day course took place in April 2000 and was fully booked.

The meditation hall was built in part of the old dining room. In the far future, the construction of a new and bigger meditation hall is planned. In the front you can see the teacher's seat. The blue pillows are seats for the meditators.

On the pictures on the right you can see the Dining Halls for the women and for the men. During the Vipassana courses genders are separated.

All the costs are covered by donations from Students of former courses, who have experienced the benefits of Vipassana in a 10 day course themselves and who want to allow that way other people to make the same experiences.

In the same way the building and the surrounding land have been bought with donations of participants of former courses.

Further on our tour through the center we get to the men's floor. On the right you see a bedroom, next to it the women's bathroom. Showers and toilets were entirely renewed.
